Can anyone please tell me how to use an Altera DE2 board for configuring using Nios2 processor..I have tried a sample program using cheat sheets and while running that in Nios 2 hardware, it is showing fatal error which I am not able to resolve..Is it possible to configure fpga following the flow mentioned in cheat sheets of Nios2 help manual or should I need any additional resources to do the same...

This is the error which i got when in tried to run the code as Nios2 Hardware

"There are no Nios II CPUs with debug modules available which match the values
specified. Please check that your PLD is correctly configured, downloading a
new SOF file if necessary."

Then I included the .sof file in programmer and configured the device...Once again when I run the program as Nios2 hardware,it is showing the following error...

"Using cable "USB-Blaster [USB-0]", device 1, instance 0x00
Pausing target processor: not responding.
Resetting and trying again: FAILED
Leaving target processor paused"

Kindly anyone help me in solving this issue.I will be very thankful.....
