Can any one explain wht is the importance of the Total -Ve slac,,it is valid to observe the Worst -ve slack while doing the implementation but why The total -ve slack is used in the reports
 

Total negative slack is the sum of all the worst negative slack.....Now got it?

but what is the importance of TNS in the implementation,,, why it should be in the summary reports,,,,
 

total negative slack is one of the measures used to check how far you are from really achieving timing closure.

There is however a more subtle aspect to it. Many designers like to aggressively over constrain their designs when synthesizing. They believe that the tool will try harder and will give them more margin at the end of the day. One has to be very careful with this technique, since one of the categories the tool uses to "measure" how far it is from achieving the target is the total negative slack. If this becomes too big it might just "give up".

This is really a very simplistic way to present it, the math behind it is naturally more deep.
