can you help me if one dimmer lamp AC can drive more than one lamp [usually one dimmer for one lamp] ? how?

Re: Dimmer Lamp AC

You need to know the power rating of the dimmer. For example - if the dimmer is rated at 100watts, you can drive one 100 watt lamp from it or four 25 watt lamps from it.

The rating is usually in watts, but it may also be specified in amps. Look on the side or back of the dimmer for the specifications.

Re: Dimmer Lamp AC

if one dimmer can handle more than one lamp. example one dimmer can control four lamp, can we make every lamp with different brightness?

Dimmer Lamp AC

use electronic fan regulator for the same. see the concept. use BT136 TRIAC based circuit.
