Hi Guys,

I need simulation on LTE downlink scheduling... regarding my final year project.

the simulation can be either in ns2 or MATLAB.

Please any help would be much appreciated.

my email address is umarqazi@hotmail.co.uk

regards,

Omar

Why should someone just give you the simulation?

Explain what you have covered and where you are having problems so that I/we can help you over come them

Hi,

thanks for the reply.
actually I am not very familiar with ns2 or MATLAB, as the Queen Mary university of London doesn't provide any guidance on the simulator softwares.

About my project, I have finished background chapter, I am studying related papers, which is very difficult to find a relevant paper on "LTE Downlink Scheduling by OFDMA".

In those papers, I have re-produce their simulation results.

I really got no clue, how to produce simulation results for even a simple scenario:

where a single base station is transmitting to a couple of Mobile stations?

then I have to move to complex scenarios, I have read some tutorials on ns2, but I think I won't be able to do complex scenario on it, as I am really not a good programmer, n there's so much coding in ns2, coz only command/script based.

any help would be very much appreciated !
I will wait for the reply.

Regards,

Omar

hey guys,
check the "3G Evolution Lab - LTE Toolbox and Blockset" LTE physical layer simulation library by steepest ascent. The toolbox features functions to perform channel coding/decoding and modulation/demodulation operations implementing the full physical layer transmit/receive processing chain, from transport channels and control information to OFDM and SC-FDMA modulated waveforms. Receive models are offered to recover the transmitted signals...

cheers,
rb

Hi there,

I am working on developing LTE waveform generator as per 36.211 and is having difficulties understanding the resource mapping for PHICH channel. Anyone here with such expertise ?

Hello Mr Hagus
I only want to know if you know the solution for ur question or not (post 7)?????as I am facing the same prb right now
Thanks alot
:)

Any body is simulating lte downlink in opnet? so we can discuss and share the knowledge?!

Hi all ,
Please have a look and jot down a line to help me run such a LTE network.
What are the links in this network?

sign :in real need of your help.thx
