Hi gang, again I need your help.
The objective is: the main motor will be going forward. When that motor is going forward, the second motor will do nothing.
When the main motor reverses, the second motor needs to turn ( doesn't matter which way it turns) For the life of me I can't figure out how to wire in the second motor.
A little info on my setup.
Both motors will be powered by one AA alkaline battery. The main motor"s direction is controlled by 2 5v spdt relays with the coils wired parallel.
The relays are triggered by a dark sensor.
( an ir emitter/detector circuit controls the relays)
I tried putting a diode on the negative terminal of the second motor but that ended up shorting the power supply for the motors. I suspect it shorted because of the cross over in the relays for the polarity reversing.
If someone out there can help me out, It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Bill
