orcad footprint for L298 plz?

l298 orcad

AOA and hello

i need orcad footprint for L298 IC. i am using multiwatt15 package.

orcad9 is being used by me. is there any footprint special name

yes footprint is there, but members can access files. so joining the group is necessary. i need PIC 18 series footprints also and for 16F877 but unable to find there

Are you talking about OrCAD Layout footprints? PICs come in fairly common IC packages (compared to, say, MultiWatt). The library of standard packages comes with OrCAD Layout. Footprints follow an OrCAD naming convention, instead of common names such as 40-DIP or 44-QFP. However, you can figure out which footprint you need by comparing it's dimensions to your PIC's datasheet.
 

l298n pcb layout

i need Capture libraries for PIC. footprints are 40 pin ZIP and DIP also. actually i downloaded PIC libarary for capture and it was showing 44 pins for a 40pin PIC, so i thought that same library will be having some footprint matching PIN numbers with some that Capture library.

anyhow i am searching for PIC capture libararies.
