Where to buy DDR2-667 128Mx16 Chips

128mx16 ddr2

I am looking to buy DDR2-667 128Mx16 memory chips. I need only a dozen or so chips but can't find a proper online shop. I tried diigikey but most of their ddr2 parts or either out of stock or too expensive. Some of the 1Gb chips are as high as $48 a piece. Any advise?

Some memory chips are hard to find in stock no matter where you shop. You may have to wait for factory lead time to get the one you want.

Try Mouser and the big distributors such as Arrow, Avnet, or Nu Horizons. You can buy from them with a credit card almost as easily as DigiKey.

Try searching for part number prefixes. The distributor's online selection guides are sometimes incomplete.

Small quantities of individual memory chips will be expensive compared to buying a whole module for a computer.

128Mx16 is two gigabits.

You are not going to find much better pricing any where else than what you found at Digikey. This is due to you only needing a few parts.

If what you need the memory for is a real design that will lead to on going business for a supplier then you could probably score the parts you need for free as samples.
