Hi,
Thanks for reply.I am actaully a Fresh engineer and Fairchild is coming to campus interview on 24th Dec to my college.I am a Master student ,doing my masters in communication engineering.
I heard that they are in Power Electronics. But when I visited the home page I found that there are large number of products, but I am unable to decide what to prepare exactly. There are lot many things to read.
Any help in this regard is most welcome.
Thanks.

I guess they may ask you such as:

1. What are buck, boost and buck-boost converters?
2. Could you explain the principle of PWM?
3. What's error amplifer and what kind of the role does it play in buck converter?
4. Please explain current mode and voltage mode control converter.

Good luck! Fairchild is a great start point in designing power IC.
Hope this helps.

They wont ask you difficult question, I'm guessing that they need product engineer, yield engineer, process engineer, or maybe just a store manager.
I know...I'm working in a semicon company now.

Can you please elaborate on this? It might help me.
