how to improve CMRR in opamp?

Re: opamp

Hi,
You can improve the CMRR of the opamp by matching the characteristics of the input differential amplifier stage.

Adding emitter/source degeneration resistors at the input differential amplifier stage helps.

CMR is tied with the offset performance.
Anything that you can improve your offset
performance will improve your CMR as well
which including any method that can reduce
system and random offset.

Re: opamp

cmrr of the opamp depends on the resistance of tail current source. cmrr increases with the increase in tail current source resistance which can be increased by cascoding the tail current source.
