What is different between BUFG and IBUFG

bufg vs ibufg

They are not quite the same. Please refer to the BUFG and IBUFG sections in your ISE manual "Libraries Guide". IBUFG connects only to an input pin. BUFG is more flexible, the software automatically converts BUFG to the appropriate type of global buffer. I've never used IBUFG.

bufg

bufg is a global buffer, ibufg is a input buffer
