Transistor Circuit for Inverting 24V to GND and Vica Versa?

24v transistor

Hello everyone, Can any one provide me the circuit for Inverting the 24V to GND and GND to 24V. I am using PLC which gives the Ground Switching and I want to use the same PLC code to another application without change for two outputs.

Please help me as early as possible. I want to know about any transitor based circuits.

simple npn transistor common emmiter connection.
supply =24 volt
very simple
You should detrmine the maximum current that will be sinked to be able to select the convenient power rated transistor

The change-over action can be implemented by a couple of relays controlled by the PLC digital outputs or the same can be done with so called H-Bridge ..
Here: http://www.armory.com/~rstevew/Public/Motors/H-Bridges/Blanchard/h-bridge.htm you can find an example that uses MOSFETs, but similar circuit can be build around power BJTs .. go GOOLE for more examples ..

Hi
Do you need large currents in both ON and OFF states.
If so, you may need double transistors, one is npn to give strong "zero" and one is pnp to give strong "one"
