SPDT switch [hlp]

Hello Everyone;
Is an SPDT switch a uni-directional or a bi-directional device?

Re: SPDT switch [hlp]

I would think that almost every spdt is bidirectional. These are the ones that use PIN diodes, or microwave FETs as switches.

I suppose there might be an unusual design that had directional devices in it, like amplifiers, but that would be rare. You might run into some unidierectionl crosspoint switch video chips, for instance.
