hi,

i am looking for some information on feeding (electromagnetic band gap material) backed archimedean spiral antenna.how i can feed such an antenna.

if anybody has any idea or papers or opinion kindly share.

hi plasma,

ur article is a real help, atleast it gives some idea on how we can feed a ebg backed archimedean spiral antenna in reality(and not with some virtual excitation for em simulation purpose), otherwise i was in the middle of nowhere.

hoping for some more insight from u(including ur opinion) on this matter, to make it clearer and make it work actually.

you should use balun in order to feeding a spiral antenna
 

hi any one hae simple one arm archimedian spiral antenna fed by microstrip line in CST MWS?
