I am a student in 3rd year communications and electronics faculty of engineering .. and i want to start ( not from skratch ) to learn to design analog circuits .. mixers, oscillators , RF Amplifiers , AM mdulators and recievers , FM modulators and recievers , LNA , noise rejection ... etc .. and any similar topics ..

but i can say that i have these things by name .. but not only .. but i am weak in them .. i.e. i cant design an AM transimitter.. or don't sense the mixer design or what are the parameters corresponding to this .. and also oscillators ..

I want to learn many things as possible in this summer vacation but i don't know where to start .. can anyone give me advices please ..

Please help me as much as you can, consider me your brother ... thank you very much

Form my point of view, as a student in the 4th year in ur faculty (as I guess), u can start reading CMOS Analog Design by Razavi, it will be a good starting. Also u may read RF IC reference (I don't remeber the author now) if need any of them just PM me.

Salam

Hi Ahmad,

As a start I recommend you to read Analog IC Design by Razavi and Microelectronics by Sedra Smith. You should familiarize yourself with biasing scheme in analog circuits such as current mirrors etc. Designing two stage miller op-amp should be a good start since op-amp is widely used in analog circuits.

best of luck

Thank you very much

u can follow the folowing order of reading books

1. Cmos anlaog by razavi

2. Cmos analog by allen and holberg

3. Sedra and smith

4. analog ckt design by grey and meyer

5. john and martins...

then u will be perfect in the analog design

but there is some problems .. first of them that i don't have all of these books .. i have only Sedra's one .. but don't have the others .. if you or anyone can help me to get them ..
second, I think they are too much to read ... i.e. this may take very very long time .. also i think that there will be reppeated data ..

anyway thenks for your help ..

Use search option in the upper right corner, select (specify) "EDA e_books Upload/Download" forum.
Past a proper search string, for instance, "analog design", etc
Enjoy the results...
