Hello,

could someone tell me how LVDS transmitter and receivers are implemented in a standard (0.35 um) CMOS process.

I would be glad if there is someone who knows where I can find some implementation description (in a thesis, paper or whatever) so that I can get a clue how this is done.

Search for this paper it is useful:

Andrea Boni, Member, IEEE, Andrea Pierazzi, and Davide Vecchi, “LVDS I/O Interface for Gb/s-per-Pin Operation in 0.35-m CMOS,” IEEE J. Solid-State Circuits, vol. 36, pp. 706–711 APRIL 2001.

Also search in **broken link removed** they have a valueable resources about LVDS.

I upload the IEEE paper, which I mentioned, here

See the National Semiconductor application notes and the Maxim application notes from their websites for a detailed discussion on LVDS.
