hi, does anybody have Two transistor sine wave generator circuit that could produce 5Vp-p with frequency 1MHZ-10 MHZ.. thanx

Re: does anybody have Two transistor sine wave generator cir

why don't u use a XR2211 IC or any other function generator IC's for accurate outputs

Re: does anybody have Two transistor sine wave generator cir

There are a series of oscillator design in EPE magazine (1999 july - dec issue?)which might meet you requirement.

Yes, I just found one,
may be this help you

The circuit explaination is

dis oscillator uses 2 transistors and operates the crystal in the fundamental mode. C1 and C2 should be about 2 700 pF for 1 MHz, 680 pF for 5 MHz, and 330 pF for 10 MHz. 150 pF can be used for up to 20 MHz. The output is a near perfect sine wave. Try varying C1 and C2 for best waveform. About 2 to 6 Vpp is available.

can u post a pic of the waveform?? btw, can THAT circuit be made variable through a POT? :)

just wondering...

Well, i have not test this cct. myself, i have found it in a book

best regards
