I am trying to use 4 mosfet tansistor to build a H-bridge to control the motor. The input voltage should be 12V and 1A. Can any one suggest which mosfet transistor is suitable for the circuit.

Thanks

Re: Identify MOSFET Transistor

Hello!

Why bothering using discrete components for 1A?
You can use chips (look at digikey with keyword = full bridge, then in PMIC and
fan controllers sub category).
You will find many chips with every possible voltage / current / number of circuits.

You will save the trouble of designing a decent motor driver. You will get a smart, small
solution and probably more reliable than anything you can do by yourself.

Dora.

Re: Identify MOSFET Transistor

excuse me, may i know whether using L293 IC as my H-bridge is better or i build it using mosfet transistor

Re: Identify MOSFET Transistor

Use L293. Its rating is 1 A. L293D is 600 mA. L293 is better because you board will look better.

Re: Identify MOSFET Transistor

may i know which is more power efficiency?

Re: Identify MOSFET Transistor

Use irf 3205

Re: Identify MOSFET Transistor

"I may recommended you to use H-bridge Mosfect transistor because it is better for switching.
Thanks!!!!!!"
