''EEPROM chips which can be used without PC'' can you explain and provide the schematic.

You can use it without PC. Firmware (HEX) for writing into some uC is stored in programmer EEPROMs, you control programming over taster, status of process is showed on leds, and device can be powered with batteries. You can program some uC outside on field, or you can clone lots of uC everywhere.

Can I use it for regular use?

Can You give me ordinary component model.

Without smd component

I dont have it in DIP version. I use DIP only on protoboard for testing and adjusting, final always goes in SMD. When I see 40-pin dip uC I always check twice marks on it, I have impression that this is manufactured before 60 years.

But you can makeit in DIP you have circuit, or try to contact author of project and ask him for DIP version.

Thank you for your reply

I don't have any programmer to program pic18f2550.in my computer does not have any serial or parallel port.
but my friend have the serial port. is there any simple programmer that support for pic18f2550.

There is simple programmer for LPT port :

Try to search someone who have desktop PC LPT port, or make USB to LPT. For electronics is good to have RS232 and LPT ports, if you dont have it, you can built USB converters or buy comercial PCMCIA cards with thise ports.

If you have serial port, you can use JDM Programmer. Google will help you to find one.
