hello
I'm trying to simulate a FSK Demodulator by using PLL 4046. Searched so many circuits and datasheets to simulate it by my ISIS Proteus 7.7 soft & of course found good & complete circuits that uses PLL 565 series, unfortunately cause of lacking IC models of simulation softs can't use 565 pll for my circuit.
Can anybody help me in designing Frequency-Shift Keying Demodulator with 74HC4046 of Fairchild Semiconductor CMOS Phase Lock Loop?
Attached a sample image file about "FSK Demodulator Using LM565" that will work properly in case of favorable components and my purpose is simulation of this circuit by 4046 pll.

In mind features of using this circuit is vast & flexible! for example frequency up to 1MHz, realistic electrical component, LP311 for comparator, supply voltage about 10 volts etc.

I'm so grateful

thanks a lot master "etmabreu" for attentions. but there isn't any practial / applicational circuit in 4046 pll series of all manufacturers datasheets neither fsk demodulator.

I think no example for application of an IC in a datasheet only means the difficulity in the theories. For example in my 565 pll datasheets there are at least 3 to 4 applicational circuit.

Not really, the basic theory of a PLL is the same accross all the designs you may get. If you understand how a 565 works, you will find the 4046 easy. If you just want to build something that works from a given schematic, then I agree with you, the 4046 datasheet is not the best one.

tnx again
I know basements of 565 and get the results with it in the lab but try for simulations of fsk demodulator with a pll harder than design it but yet didn't get any hopes!

If I were you, I'd start to model a PLL in Simulink, if available, and tinker from that.
