Thanks,
Do you happen to have a basic PCI card that I could learn from, I simply want a comprehensive example, because I'm not sure where to begin.
Thanks again
Hello all,
Basically, I want to use my computer as an electronics station (Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Function generator...). Could anyone tell me how to build a PCI card, maybe even get me started on such a data aqcuisition card?
I've searched the web and I found lots of sites on doing things...
Well,
Specifically, my simulation has a cylindrical symmetry, but not a 'z' symmetry. I guess I can take only one quarter of the fiber and simulate it, but I'm not shure how to do that, and I didn't find an option like that in HFSS.
Hi,
I have an optic fiber (something a little different in shape, but the same for the sake of discussion).
Basically I want to know the energy at one end of the fiber as a function of the energy I put in at the other end. I want to know this as a function of the wavelength that I put in...
Excitations in HFSS
Hello,
I'm trying to simulate a passage of light via an optical fiber and I'm not sure which excitation to assign.
I've tried a waveport but it says that the fiber cant be made of glass because it is dialectric.
I though that maybe Incident wave would work, but it doesnt...
Hmmm...
Thats what I need to do. I left it all night and it wasn't enogh.
Are there any other programs especially for optics that I can use?
Could I arrange a "Super Computer" with enogh RAM and enough CPU power.
Can you approximate how much RAM I need, considering that I can leave the...
Hello,
I wish to "take" the frequency range 50Hz-3kHz (speech) and "move" it to the frequency range (for example) 10kHz-13kHz.
After that, I would like to return the signal to its original frequency range.
How do you call such circuits, and does anyone have a link to a site with these...
Hello,
I want to simulate the passage of Infrared light (~10^14Hz) via a fiber optic wave guide (0.8mm in diameter).
I was woundering if HFSS can give me an accurate solution for such parameters.
Thank you.
