Thanks for the replies,
The antenna described in the paper looks very attractive however the usable bandwidth is not enough to cover the wanted band, If i'm not wrong this antenna can be scaled to run from 1 to 2.45 Ghz (84 %) or for example 2.45 to 6 GHz (84 %). It looks interesting because I...
Hi,
Currently I am looking for a wideband TX/RX antenna, from 1 to 6 Ghz and I wonder that anyone can help with some input or material to start from. The physical dimensions should small so that portable operation is possible
Thanks in advance,
Tony
Hi,
I wonder if someone can help with information how to bring in the parameters 5and which parametrs) of ABS plastic. I want to simulae the influence of this material nearby an antenna.
thanks,

transmit fm band
Hi,
I wonder if someone has an idea how the implementation of a FM band transmit antenna can be done into a mobile phone.
Let's assume an available power of 1 mW while the required effective radiated power is roughly 100nW in the frequency range of 80 to 120 MHz.
The...
Flatulent,
The problem you will have is the losses in the matching network. Try a series inductor to cancel the capacitive reactance and then a transformer.
Also, try a loop antenna.
Thanks for your quick response. In my case I want to drive a very short piece of wire, let say 2 cm that...
Helical in HFSS
Hi,
I am planning to analyse some antenna structure including a helical coil. However I know this is basic I am not able to draw the coil in HFSS.
Can anyone guide me ?
Thanks in advance,
Tony
UHF antenna
Hello UHF antenna people out there,
i am looking for a small size UHF antenna working from 500 to 700 Mhz on a overall dimension of 5 by 12 cm.
This is to integrate a mobile DVB-h into a pda product, the given size is the pcb size,
Thanks in advance
Tony
Hello,
I am looking for :
IEEE Standard Definitions of Terms for Antennas, IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, vol. AP-31 num. 6, Nov. 1983.
thanks in advance,
