Compare to mim capacitor , mos capacitor can save much of area, but in circuit design i seldom see people used it , most use mim capacitor ,what is the reason? compare to mim capacitor , what is the disadvantages of the mos capacitor ?
Re: [help]how to simulate input and output resistance in spe
dear suvendu
i mean no matter what circuit simulator we use, either pspice ro hspice, how we usually simulate the input and output resistance of a circuit? for example ,a simplest one-stage common-source amplifier?
resistor ladder flash adc
As we all know, in a flash adc in order to maintain quantitive error within ±1/2VLSB ,the lowest resistor in the resistor ladder is R/2 and the uppermost resistor is 3R/2. but in berkeley lecture, the lowest and uppermost resistor both are R/2 and the resistor...
question: a 6 bit 2 GSamples/s flash A/D converter with Vref = 1V. It uses an array of preamplifiers followed by a comparator array.
(a)The comparator can resolve a 50mV difference at its input to full logic levels at its output. What is the gain required in the preamplifiers...
when designing a gps receiver, a simple rule to decide the overall gain is to amplify the signal to the maximum range of the ADC. but i am wandering what determine the maximum range of the ADC. A paper mentioned the peak-to-peak value of a 1-bit adc is 100mv,what is the reason? if i design a...

Could anyone tell me what type and what bits adc are commonly used ,and the reason? if i want to design such a adc , could you recommend me some reference? Thanks a lot!
