Hi,
Has anyone successfully installed Ansoft HFSS(v15) on any free distro apart from RHEL/SELD ?? I am using opensuse 12.3 assuming that there should not be any issue as it is more close to Suse Linux.
I have successfully installed, but while running it I am getting following error
I would...
Hi,
I have a chip to be tested with single ended input as well as single ended output.
My doubt : Is it possible to use GS probe where SG probe is required and vice-versa. I have read somewhere in the internet that we can use and could not find that material again.
Thanks for your help...
Hi
Can some one through light on difference between QFN sockets and TSSOP sockets. I am interested to in "open-top"/"open-pak"/"air-cavity" styled sockets so that the pads of the chip are accessible to RF probes.
Which one, QFN/TSSOP sockets, is recommended ? keeping cost, reliability...
I tired to find "notes" to distinguish between QFN and TSSOP packages.
I mean it terms of reliability, I need my IC to be packaged for High frequency applications.
I will be grateful if one can provide links of the same.
Thanks n Regards

Hi
I am using spectre for simulations. Would it possible for me to run transient analysis with initial condition chosen form "at some point" from previous transient analysis.
To make it clear : I am trying to simulate a 60+GHz oscillator, its simulating fine but there is a phase shift of...
EM simulation for MOS Technology
Hi
I have to characterize a deep micron transistor for very high frequency operation(mm-wave). For that I need to simulate the layout of the transistor(considering all the metal layers and dielectrics involved) with a electromagnetic wave simulator, like IE3D...

Re: Current Mode ADC
hi ..analog_prodigy
thanks for ur reply...
my question is .... cosidering the current range from few uA to 128uA for ADC (or DAC for that matter.) what are the applications in which these ICs are used. (current range specif.) like vedio processing etc. I Think I'm clear...
Hello ..
Can anyone give the details about applications of Current mode ADC with perticular current ranges. Actually I started desining ADC for the current mode ADC for 0-128uA (resolution : 6- 8 ) and I think these current ranges are common on video applications and cellelar applications...
u can use cascode current mirrors
there are three types of cascode current mirrors .. with a liberty of swing that u can want ... low swing and high swing.
these current mirrors mirror to a least extent of error with voltage across the current mirror (obvious : provided all are in saturation...
hey
finally I could able to download the above book by other means (above link is not working ). Quality of the book is too bad even I could not able to see anything ...
Is there any other book for current mode approach .... which I can buy (hard copy - not e-book) in Low Price Edition (like...
Hi,
I do need this book desperately .... please mail me the e-book to
rsrkrishna[at]gmail.com , it doest matter in which format it is ....
thank you very much
