    Solder msop-8 max temperature ?

Hello, with such small packages, I was wondering what was the max temp to solder these? the datasheet says the max temp these chips can handle is 150° but melting tin needs at least 250° https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/21294E.pdf thanks for your advices on this

    humbucker preamp - j201 gain is 1:1, why ?

Hello, I wanted to build a humbucker preamp, allowing me to learn JFET amplification in the context of electric guitars someone pointed once this circuit to me I was happy that it worked on firt try , but the gain is 1:1 I cant find any gain (hfe) like for bjt in the datasheet...

    gamepad black conductive compound

Hello, I want to make my own game controler so I was wondering, as I would etch the pcb, what is the black stuff they cover button contacts with ? I mean I can order rubber buttons replacements online, but about that black dried conductive goo the put on the pcb where the button presses ...

I cannot power that pelletier module

I cannot power that pelletier module : TEC2-25408 Hello, I have tried to power that pelletier module with an AT power supply but I reached max -10°C or something so I ordered a 12V 10A power supply, as I measure the pelletier module, it really does not go up to specs barely -20°C (should...

Audio IC (rec/play/spi) that does not s..

hello, I really feel like asking for the moon on google, but I have been digging for a long while, yet I am desperate to find an IC that rec/play audio with the least basic features : - play/rec audio (couple of seconds of memory @44khz) - receive a wav file, or whatever (RECENT !!!!) format...

    LM3940 (3.3V reg) cannot supply 9V buck-boosk ?

Hello, I use a 3.7V 16850 cell that gets boosted to 9V (board : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32844818160.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dSXahMo) as I sometime, have to recharge my cell, I thought I'd use 3.3V coming out of a LM3940 but the booster output drops to 4.4V while the output...
