pickit2 vpp error
Are you using PICKit2 for the first time ?
I get these problems when pins are not connected properly or there is any kind of shorting between two pins that will be used for programming !!
Also I hope you are not tieing the MCLR pin to Vcc while programming !

dspic uart
hy all ,
I am very new to communicating the dsPIC's via UART. I use 2 controllers dsPICFJ128MC804 and dsPIC33FJ128MC802. The transmitter is 804 and reciver is 802.
my code for transmitter is as follows :
int main(void)
{
setup();
int i;
/* wait at least 104 usec (1/9600)...
dspic33 reset
I am running a dsPIC33FJ32MC304 at 79-80MHz using the internal oscillator with PLL.
The controller is driving a pair of brushed DC motors under PID control through some motor-driving circuitry. Occasionally, after the motors have reached their setpoint, the systems resets. I used...
Re: Distance measurement
Although I may have hijacked the topic , I think moving round and round in the topic its back to square one. I think even Mr.Correa the thread starter would agree to the fact that the thread just drifted and eventually didn't get any concrete output from this thread. I...
Distance measurement
well ok ! fine here it goes , then sensors are being used for external purposes as a part of automated robots , which will be in public grounds , so care has to be taken of all these factors
**broken link removed**
ok here you have it in rapid shared this one is sure to reach you !!

With AVR studio you can cpmpile AVR in ASSEMBLY and can also see the simulation of the internal working of AVR i.e you can see the registers being loaded , your SRAM requirements etc etc.
But if you want to compile AVR in c , i would prefer WinAVR which is a freeware
Re: Distance measurement
and what about camera flash lights ? I hear they have a very high frequency ? so even camera lights can cause problems right ? and what is the solution ?
Re: can anyone help
You can do this pretty easily ! But you must be good at digital communication if not you can get a ready made module ( of ASK transmitter reciever pair )
First make an ASK ( amplitude shift keying ) transmitter reciever.
If you are not aware of this ready made pairs are...
Re: Distance measurement
Hey even I am working on the same lines ! can you guys please tell me exactly how to go about making the filter circuit ?
Even the surface which I am working is white and flat at all times !
