Hi,
Yes, but what do I get if I acquire a device like I already seen on the internet? I will not get a relay with contacts inside. I will find a mechanical switch with multi contacts which has to be triggered manually. I can make a small project with an MCU, UART interface and with an digital...
Hi everybody,
I am searching for a device which could switch between 2 VGA or HDMI sources lets say PC's and one computer monitor. The device has to be electronically controlled, lets say by serial port RS232 or even some other interface. Anyhow, RS232 is enough. I cant find a device like this...
mc35 module data sheet
Hello,
Try to make the following trace. Define a standard dial up networking connection with 19200 standard modem drivers associated to this connection. In advanced modem settings add the extra initialization command AT+CGDCONT=etc... Connect the MC35i terminal or MC35i...
Hello,
If the system is using a loop antenna, try to change it maybe to a whip monopol antenna. For example, this is not really a mathematical approach, but in one system I have modified, I have simply cut the PCB loop antenna at one side and connected the "hot" end RF signal to a telescopic...
pt2262 antenna
Hello,
OK, this really is a Hartley based transistor RF oscilator. My next question is the following:
What is the purpose of this 10uH inductor in the first schematic which of course is providing the 12V DC bias, but the thing which is not clear to me is how is this inductor...
pt2262 schematic
Hello,
I am trying to understand the electrical schematics I have attached into this topic. The first schematic is showing the recommended circuit by the producer of the encoder chip PT2262, which is mainly used for radio remote control etc... The other schematic is using the...
Re: Burgular Alarm
Hello,
It's very easy to find all sorts of different alarm schematics on the internet, but the best idea is to design it on your own. For example, a simple 8bit MCU unit with a couple of microswitches for the begining on the windows of your house or automobile, after you...
Hello all,
When someone wants to measure a DC voltage or a DC current, is the multimeter actually calculating internally an average value which it displays on the screen of the instrument with a specific refresh rate? If this is an average value, what is the integration time in which this value...
Hi,
Every battery should have a data sheet where the battery capacity is specified. So, you just choose the higher capacity type if the physical size is not the problem.
Re: 8051 complier
Hello,
Try firstly with famous companies which are already known. You can search this forum and will find many entries. They offer usually evaluation versions which are of course limited, but its good for learning about the tool and can sometimes do the job.
Hello,
Free evaluation boards, not very likely, nearly impossible....Free MCU samples, very likely with distributors. Evaluation cross software tools with limitations, very likely.
Hello,
I would sugest a simple 20pin 8051 based MCU from Atmel like 89C4051, a 12MHz crystall, a reset circuit, a 7805 voltage regulator and transistor drivers over optocouplers or maybe galvanically connected. The best idea would be to design the exact schematic and the parts values by...
