There is a good book on this topic. These equations of course could be solved only by means of numerical techniques:

The 3rd eddition of this book was available for the download somewhere in the web.
There is a special block called EMBEDDED MATLAB FUNCTION. You can use it to embedd almost any part of the code and fucntions.
The only problem is that you have to use eml.extrinsic(‘FUNCTION NAME') structure in the beginning of your code to define some MATLAB functions.
May be this is very simple question, however I could not find the answer in none of the books available for me on Switching Power Converters:
1.If we use the voltage mode control and compare the error signal Verr with the ramp (with maximum ar Vup and minimum ar Vlow), then the Duty cycle...
Thank you for the video- it was really interesting and very aducating! Hope it helps me!

1. I didn't use the compesation network as the aim of this circuit is to study instabilities in DC-DC converters and...
Thank You for the answer. However I've tried to change the diode to fast FR153 and used snubber- nothing helps, but in my case these are not just spykes, but noise signal, not allowing the comparator to operate normally, causing multiple switching after one general switching cycle.
My task was to build very simple buck DC-DC converter with input voltage in the range 15-30V, output - 12V.
The key idea was to build the control circuitry not using control IC chips, but by means of usual OP AMPS and comaprators in order to be free to modify any of its blocks.
The operation...
Thanks for the help, but the question is still unclear for me. I know the sources of subharmonics and I know how to "kill" them, but my task is just to study THEIR effect on the output voltage ripples and to detect by what amount Vpp increase- analytically....
Thanks for the answers again! The origin of the "noise" is just the subharmonic behaviour of the converter itself (as in the case of boost converter for D>0.5). My task now is not to eliminate these phenomenon, but to study HOW subharmonic oscillations at fsw/2, fsw/4.... propogate to the output...
THANKS!
But anyway if there is for example -30db gain margin at fsw- will this make output voltage ripples bigger ar smaller and for what ammount? Is it possible to calculate this?
The same holds for example for the noise in the system- for.ex. at fsw/2 there is -10db gain margin - how would...
It seems that my question is very simple, but nevertheless I am not able to find any answer in textbooks and internet.
How is it possible to calculate the output voltage ripples in switching power converter, when there is a feedback loop closed.
For example- simple buck converter. The equation...
Thanks for the help!
I'll compensate it with Type II compensation network. However I have one more question.
The attached figure shows the bode plot for the same converter in DCM. However I've changed the small signal feedback gain a bit. Green line corresponds to k=0.1; blue line to k=0.15...
Hi!
The question arising for me is as follows.
I am given a voltage mode controlled buck switching converter operating in DCM. The parameters of the plant could not be changed and are as given:
R=12.5;
L=208(uH);
C=222(uF);
Vin=33(V);
Vout=25(V);
Fsw=3kHz;
There is an additional divider in the...
It appears, that differences in equations are just due to "completness of the model". Earlier one-pole models were used, but their phase/mag characteristics could not explain certain phenomena, that is why different kinds of "complete" models were proposed.
Thank You for advice- I'll try the...
