Dear barry thanks for ur reply...
your points of view about each conversation is very valuable for me.
Thank you

Thank you rca;
do you mean the time constant of sigma delta modulator integrator?
can you tell me how can I handle this timing at the FPGA?
Thank you
Thanks helpmejerry; Yes the signal transfer function in modulator has the gain<1; also I want to ask you that when I captured the output of my 8-bit ADC it does not digitized from 0-255 and it only digitized from e.g [30, 237] at fin=20 hz; and [10, 196] at fin=10khz ...in output frequency...
Dear all hi;
I implemented sigma delta ADC on FPGA I have some questions about evaluating the output ADC..
when I captured the output of my 8-bit ADC it does not digitized from 0-255 and it only digitized from e.g [30, 237] at fin=20 hz; and [10, 196] at fin=10khz ...in output frequency range...
Hi daer all;
I have a question that for an 8-bit ADC for low-speed industrial applications what is the accepted minimum ENOB for interested bandwidth?
I designed and implemented my Sigma-delta ADC on FPGA; but the ENOB for lower frequencies (20hz) starts from 6.4 and for highest frequency in...
GUMY thanks for you reply
I am not sure whether I can access to spectrum analyzer in our lab, but if I could found one how can I connect my 16-bit output to that?
after that does it show me the power spectrum and SNR?
have you work with it before?
Dear all Hi;
I've implemented sigma delta ADC on cyclonII DE1 FPGA.
the analog input is digitized at the multi-bit output
now I want to evaluate the output by measuring the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and ENOB and power spectrum but I dont know how to do that in practice?
using which software...
hi;
kindly I have a question; I want to implement Sigma Delta ADC on Altera DE1, i wrote the code and run on QuartusII; now i want to know
is it possible to connect the analog input directly to the board?
as in my code the input is introduced as signed [7:0] so my original analog input should...
my MATLAB Software is R2011b(7.1). I download DSToolbox.rar then unzip it and copy the folder of delsig to the directory of MATLAB toolbox then from file>set path>Add folder/Add subfolder>"choose delsig">ok>close
unsynthesizable code?!!! oh... so do you have any experience of using ALtera DAP...
aha,, and just another question: I want to design Digital Sigma-Delta ADC to be implemented on FPGA, does this toolbox help me to design the modulator part of my ADC? as of course it should be in digital...
thanks a lot for our time
tnx ninju i installed sigma delta toolbox (delsig) and insert in to my Matlab software toolboxes, but i can not see this tool box among them !! and dont know how to open it?
any guidance very appreciated....

hi i want to design sigma delta ADC and start using delta sigma toolbox would you introduce me good document to start using this delsig toolbox ? i am totally new to this toolbox
thanks in advanve
