Error with Sub-circuit spice model nodes as "Text" Instead of Unsigned Integer in Mindi SIMPLIS

Thanks for the Reply FvM, I have changed the node names to numbers and loaded model properly. Its known but not simple. Because with many manufacturers i have seen this practice (having node names as Text like N01,N02....etc), For bigger models changing these names to numbers at many places...

Error with Sub-circuit spice model nodes as "Text" Instead of Unsigned Integer in Mindi SIMPLIS

Setup: MPLAB Mindi Simulator in SIMPLIS mode, *.mod model file of capacitor GRM31CC80G227ME11. I have loaded(via model library addition or directly including using .INC file) a Sub circuit model of Capacitor(GRM31CC80G227ME11) to Generic capacitor part in Mindi Simulator and using it circuit...

[SOLVED] How via stub acts like a resonant circuit

You need to read about this Subject in google, and ask when you get any doubt on particular section. These questions are very broad questions. Can't explained everything in posts.

Understanding of Thermal metrics of PCB, heatsinks, How heat flows/converts - Books

I want to understand more about Thermal metrics of PCB (Like how traces, Vias, planes etc interact thermally how they will get cooled), Heat sinks designing (like Fin structure, spacing, materials how they will affect cooling efficiency etc) How thermals flow ( i am an electrical & electronics...

What's the difference between SPI and QSPI?

SPI/QSPI use only when Master(MCU/Processor) has supported it. About speeds SPI can operate up to 133Mhz. SPI is not having any specific standard where manufacturers can adhere like I2C/SMBus. QSPI people will use when they need faster boot up times with Higher memories etc.

    Troubleshooting Circuit card

very old post. i hope the issue was solved. But, if you need any help, u need to give more details. "Circuit not functional" - has so many possibilities , which circuit, purpose, in what way not functional, how you found the circuit is not functional etc

    LDO linear regulator output problem

I explained these things in the above message itself, just check and specifically ask. Try with Strong pull-down, If you want to remove that variable. Some states it's hard to measure using DSO with general settings. Because we are not seeing any problem in scope captures doesn't mean there is...

    LDO linear regulator output problem

As KlauST suggested, EN should have strong pull-down for testing purpose use 1K pull-down, EN only 5.5uA to change its state. 1. On Input pin 2 , 220nF capacitors are connected in series, why is that - Use only one capacitor (smaller/higher as required) With your Input 14V to 5V @150mA...

[SOLVED] Difference between switching regulator with external and internal power mosfet?

As per my understanding, Stability is more of Mode control used in converter/controller & the efficient layout,Loop closures. Both should work in the same way if layout is good. If stability is concern take flow controls like D-CAP3,Current mode control, etc, make sure all critical loops are...

[SOLVED] Difference between switching regulator with external and internal power mosfet?

My views are for Buck converters/controllers Yes, your views are correct, 1. Internal/External MOSFET switching regulators Decision depends on Max current handling capacity,Area of the converter size, layout complexity, reliability concerns, type of application...

    Buzzer Voltage and Current Waveforms

Re: Buzzer Voltage and Current waveforms Can you more details like Which source are you using to drive PWM (Is it from any uController/Function generator) - what is the voltage level - scope capture shows voltage is 15V. you are driving 15v at the base of the transistor. If the base...

Via keepouts under MLCCs and inductors?

For Inductors, i see some people use this recommendation not to put via's under Inductors, one side of inductors will have sharp changes in voltages (from SW side). But capacitors i don't see much this kind of considerations.
