    Document about memory register layout

What kind of memory are you after ? Here are some useful documents for SRAM: **broken link removed** http://www.cmosvlsi.com/lect13.pdf DRAM: **broken link removed** ROM: http://people.ee.duke.edu/~jmorizio/ece261/classlectures/Memory_design.pdf And a very useful book, see chapter 16: **broken...

How to connect photodiode to fully differential opamp ?

You mean photovoltaic mode like in here: https://www.aptechnologies.co.uk/support/photodiodes/photodiode-theory-of-operation where the diode is directly connected to both opamp inputs or in zero bias like in this thread: https://www.edaboard.com/threads/154202/#post659132 ? I see as a main...

How to connect photodiode to fully differential opamp ?

Unfortunately this is single ended operation - 2 inputs, one of which is grounded and 1 output. I'm searching for a fully differential - 2 inputs to 2 outputs from the opamp where the effective signal swing is Vn = -(Vp) so Vout = Vp - Vn = Vp - (-Vp) = 2Vp.

Any materials for 2 non overlapping clocks circuit design

Hello, Please see this link https://tams-www.informatik.uni-hamburg.de/applets/hades/webdemos/12-gatedelay/40-tpcg/two-phase-clock-gen_print.html Two non-overlapping clock signals usually are made from 1 clock signal that goes through SR NOR or SR NAND latch with delay buffers in the loops, and...

How to connect photodiode to fully differential opamp ?

Hello, I'm currently researching custom made photodiode and its possibilities for signal processing with the regard of an application as an integrated rpm detector (IC). How to connect the photodiode to the input of a fully differential CMOS OPAMP ? Because this will be an integrated circuit...

How to 'save and resume' SSH sessions ?

Thank you both for the suggestions. Does screen or tmux works with remote X11 windows like when I have opened some schematic in Cadence, or they support only terminal windows ? Also for nohup I saw some examples how I can split and direct the output to a file 1 and the errors to file 2, or just...

How to 'save and resume' SSH sessions ?

Hello, At one company I saw the following setup: one can log in to RedHat thru VNC client (over SSH, I think) start Monte Carlo analysis then exit the VNC client, shut down his windows PC and go home. At the morning he will go to his workstation turn on his pc log in again to the RedHat server...

    DRAM design and simulation

Well, **broken link removed** is some very nice reference but it is for SRAM and in french, but if you add it to the wiki article about dram operation here you could easily make the control logic of the bit and word lines, also you can have a look at these two programs and the build-in examples...

    DRAM design and simulation

Hello there, First, there should be a way to set the initial condition of the capacitor, it should be abbreviated some like 'IC' in the properties if the device, and should denote the precharged voltage across the capcitor, but it depends on the model you're using. The ideal model found in...

Schmitt trigger eqn in Baker's book..correct or incorrect ?

I would want to know too, and also how to size M2 and M4 and why exactly this way. I mean that in the 1st edition it was M2 (M4) should be 5 times larger (or more) than M1 and M3 (M5 and M6), but now it becames M2 should be larger (a little, not 5 times) than M1 OR M3 ?? What is going on and...

    Schmitt trigger design 0.25u

Hello there, DenisMark could you please send this "schmitt.zip" to me to, or perhaps cater could send it to me. My problem with this circuit is the 2 transistors that are close to the middle point between the input and the output. How to size them, they doesn't seems to affect threshold values...

What does POR layer stand for and what is it functions?

Oops, sorry :). I've just searched about POR circuit, and found this thread, apparently I missed the word "layer"...

What does POR layer stand for and what is it functions?

Well, it stands for Power-On-Reset. This sort of circuit "enables" any other circuits inside the chip. In other words when VDD goes above the safety minimum level of operation for the other circuits then VDD is applied to them, and when VDD drops below the safety minimum required voltage level...

Spectre pss & pac difficulties for SC filter.

Hello everybody, I'm designing a fully differential switched capacitor biquad filter with switching frequency of 1.33 MHz (actually two non-overlapping clocks). When analyzing the ideal circuit (constructed with ideal switches from analogLib and all others elements plus ideal fully differential...
