Hi all,
I found a datasheet stated: PLoad(avg)=8W, Gain=14dB, Vds=28V, Vdq=170mA, PAE=40%, WCDMA mode
Would you help me on the calculation how to obtain PAE 40%?

thanks!
my company is designing a product. It's to transmit and receive CATV signal thru a 2.4GHz transciever system. This is a indoor home appliances.
I don't know what kind of signal from CATV. Do I still add a TV tuner in my product? or it's already a demodulated video +audio signal? How can I...
I tried. the switching come from ramp down. I tried to tune but it just has little effect.
Reduce the PA output power would help, but it just marginal pass on switching spectrum.
it is fail on +400kHz. switching suddenly increase sharply when voltage below 3.7V. From 4.2V to 3.8V, all test...
I found that the phone has peak phase error and switching spectrum fail under low voltage (3.4V). It happend at maximum power level. I have checked the PA output matching, it's already very "matched". Actually I have tried to tune the output matching but no effect on this problem.
any comment?
fcc part15.247
Dear all,
I have a product using DSSS. If should fulfill FCC part15.247. However, I can't understand one of statement below. would you pls help?
Part 15.247(2)
---quote--
(2) Systems using digital modulation techniques may operate in the 902 - 928 MHz,
2400 - 2483.5 MHz, and...
hi guys, I also came across the problem of phase error. It happened on GSM band but not DCS/PCS. And some difference from yours is, the poor phase error at the beginning of burst only occur when battery drop to 3.4V. The situation is getting more worse when the phone operate in low temperature...
Re: Does anyone know how to calculate the inductance ofmicro
As inductor is more expensive compare to cap, for cost down purpose, many product will try to replace the inductor with microstripline. But I think it's hard to control the inductance variation because of width tolerance, coupling...
