Hi!
The normal way of charging NiCd or NiMH is by measuring the voltage drop that happens when the battery is fully charged. Both types of batteries is charged with constant current.
The drop for NiCd is larger than for NiMH.
If you want to charge fast, you normally choose a charging current of...
5v to 12v converter
Check MAX253.
Then you don´t have to bother...
If you want to design your own flyback converter with an oscillator that is either free-running or on/off controlled, PowerIntegrations have got a lot of good application notes on transformer design and theoretical discussions...
dxdesigner stinks
Hi!
I have worked with both Pads and Cadstar and must say that Pads stinks in comparison. (And Cadstar has the most beautiful support for hand-routing)
I have also worked some with Orcad and I agree with earlier post that it may not be the best choice for the not so...
IrDA - again...
Hi,
I have searched the forum but did not find what I needed. I want to interface a Pocket-PC to an AVR through IrDA on the lowest level (raw IR).
I have it allmost running, but a leading zero followed by a couple of ones at the start kicks the UART in the AVR out of synk. I...
jtagice schematic
Sorry Admiral, I was writing my reply and didn´t see yours...
I have never opened an ICE so I dont know how it looks like in real life... But my previous question is still valid, is this schematic for the ARM perhaps?

jtagavr-ii
Great!
But I only got my hands on the different AN:s and the schematic I allready had before the password was changed. I hope there wasn´t any hex-file that´s not included in AVR-Studio...
Still, I do wonder which of the AVR:s that is programmed?
And why do they have two? One of the...
Analog signal slowly rising is newer good for a cmos-input...
You should better put some sort of comparator inbetween. I´m shure Microchip uses an internal comparator for this application.
But this approach is more straightforward than to build your own sigma/delta-converter!

avr jtag firmware
AHHH!
I´m quite new to AVR so I haven´t read all AN:s yet...
The problem is that I don´t know if the schematic is for AVR or ARM... There is no information about that in the schematics.
There are two processors, one AT90S1200 and one AT90S8535.
The 1200 is sitting between the...
Hi all!
Anyone know anything about building your own JTAG-emulator for AVR?
I found the schematics, but there should be some firmware involved as well...
Thanks

Magstripe reader ???
Hi!
I would like to build a magstripe card reader. I have only found single ended amplifiers on the net but would like to build a differential one to suppress CM-signals. The one I have tried to build gives a signal which's offset is drifting between bits making it very...
Hi!
How do I build a R/C receiver for 40MHz?
Any good links or other information?
I had a Hitec 5-channel receiver that gave up...
Does anyone perhaps have the schematic for it? (HY-5RN)
Thanks!
/Janne
