Hi all,
I need help in design of cubic Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA). I found that the new Antenna Magus has cubic DRA included in its database. Is anyone using Antenna Magus and can export two models for me?
Regards,
Imran
Hi all,
The following code is suppose to do the following but it is giving an error, please help.
At start up, a string "Please Enter S-T" should show on top line of the LCD. Press and hold push button RB6 to increment the sampling time from 1 to 10 seconds shown on line 2 of the LCD. Release...
Hi One Person,
I am a student at Queen Mary University of London, doing similar kind of project like yours in my design and build module. I need your help in programming PIC microcontroller. Can you please send me your code so that I can take help from it?
Many thanks,
Imran
why anchoic chamber
hi dear,
i would prefer you to study the following book:
Electromagnetic Anechoic Chambers: A Fundamental Design and Specification Guide by Leland H. Hemming, ISBN: 978-0-471-20810-5
The best option which i think would be to contact some higher education institute/university in your locality having antenna measurement facilities..
To measure the S-parameters you need a network analyzer whereas to measure the radiation patterns of the designed prototype you need to look for...
Hi all,
I need to plot E-plane and H-plane radiation patterns of an antenna in CST MWS v2006B. I'm new in this area. Could you please help me, how can I do this?
Cheers,
Imran
cst 2006
Hi,
I tried to install CST Microwave Studio 2006 on Windows Vista platform. Everything went fine but at the last step of installation when it says: STARTING SERVICES, the installation roll backs.
Could you please advise me some wayout?

install cst studio suite 2008 pdf
Hi,
I tried to install CST Microwave Studio 2006 on Windows Vista platform. Everything went fine but at the last step of installation when it says: STARTING SERVICES, the installation roll backs. Previously, I was using a XP based laptop and now bought a new...
Hi,
I'm little confused with the stub position in stub tuning process. Let's say we have been given to match a load using single-stub whether short or open. I did both as an exercise and where I got myself stuck was the position of the stub. The query is: whatever the stub is? whether short or...
Hi,
How can I plot E-theta and E-phi 2D polar far-field radiation patterns in ADS? I want to compare both? How can I do this in ADS?
What's the impact of Axial ratio, which is best low or high?
How can I plot VSWR vs. Frequency in ADS?
How can I know in ADS, whether impedance is matched or...
PIFA Design
Hi,
I have simulated a PIFA for 900 and 1800 MHz GSM bands. The simulation has been carried out in Agilent ADS2005A. I want to widen the bandwidth. Can anyone, who has some knowledge of PIFAs and ADS, have a look on the project files (*.zip) attached herewith and modify the design...
what is difference between labview and matlab
Both of these are simulation tools. MATLAB is a technical computing language tool to solve mathematical, signal processing, communications problems while LabView is a design and test tool. MATLAB is better than LabView because it has many many...
1. What’s the relationship b/w VA and watts?
VA = Active power measured in Watts (due to resistive loads) + Reactive power measured in VAR (due to capacitive or inductive loads)
2. How to calculate the wattage from VA? What r their formulas?
P = S cos Θ (W)
Q = S sin Θ (VAR)
For further...
Hi,
I have simulated a single band PIFA for GSM 900 applications. The center frequency is well coinciding with 925 MHz but the bandwidth is to small. |S11| is around -20 dB. How can I widen the bandwidth? I'm using Agilent ADS2005A momentum.
Your guidance is appreciated in this regard...
