    lm339 comparator not working

Hey guys, I am trying to use a lm339 comparator and for some reason the output never goes high. Is it even supposed to go to full +Vdd? My Vdd is at 9v but my output goes to 0.34 volts when the noninverting input is greater than the inverting. Thanks :)

    Voltage Buffer/ Follower without opamp?

Hey guys, I was just wondering how i would make a voltage buffer/follower without using an opamp. I have used some class A (emitter follower) and AB amplifiers, but when my output is very low impedance, my output starts to saturate with an offset. I was wondering if you guys had any designs in...

How to control multiple POTs with one Master POT??

Thanks once again for the replies. BTW what program do you use to simulate these circuits? I've tried using LTSpice to simulate these circuits, but I can't get a descent oscillation to start.

How to control multiple POTs with one Master POT??

Thanks for everyone's support :) I think i will go with the adaptation to the quadrature oscillator (actually called bubba oscillator) suggested by godfreyl. I don't think i wanna ditch out more than $5 for a gang pot :) Here is a wide variety of oscillators with feedback and stability...

How to control multiple POTs with one Master POT??

Hey guys, I was just wondering how I would go about controlling 3 potentiometers around a circuit with a single (master) potentiometer. I am making a sine wave generator and I need a way to change 3 different pots, but with the same value (ie. 10k, 10k, 10k). I was thinking of using MOSFETs or...

DC Power supply short circuit protection :/

sorry, the input is actually 9v-13v now and that input cap is rated at 50v, just to be safe. The first signal transistor is a regular ss8050 https://www.fairchildsemi.com/ds/SS/SS8050.pdf and the second one is a ksc5021f power transistor...

DC Power supply short circuit protection :/

so i simulated this circuit. the thing is that the two npn transistors will be using about 40W and 20W in the event of a short circuit. That's so high :/ any suggestions?

DC Power supply short circuit protection :/

Hey guys, I have designed and built this constant current/constant voltage power supply. I know it's a bit unconventional, but I've used a darlington pair transistor with a zener diode to regulate the voltage. The LM317 regulates the output current. The circuit does work very well with all sorts...

    DC-DC Power Supply Design?

Thank you very much :) Didn't know you can do that with a hysteresis curve :)

    DC-DC Power Supply Design?

Hey guys, I am trying to build a power DC-DC power supply that converts 32VDC to 0-24VDC (or 5-24VDC) and has constant current OR current limiting+constant voltage. They have to be adjustable, and it would be preferable if it did it all with basic electronic components. I have previously tried a...
