    Output frequency problem in inverter

    Try removing L1 & C1. See what you get. the switching frequency Should be such that the core should work as LPF. This is what typically done with home sine-wave inverters. I will share the Module (IC) here If I find it. for reference. Found One more hint. Refer EGS003.

    Zero Crossing is sure happening or then its not firing the gate. Because I am using MOC3063. Please check the schematic pdf attached. But if you still feel there could be other reason for not firing at zerocrossing please let me know. Logically I am eliminating the chance of delayed firing...

    OK, I guess.... Let me see if I can find out surge because of capacitor. But then the capacitor too gets switched during Zerocrossing.

    Inductive load of 60W 230VAC( celling fan) . BTA16 Looking at the specs I am still not able to understand that. Triac specifications are surely over rated. Please correct me is I am wrong.

    I had same type circuit working and the triac blew off (open). I am still wondering why. I use it with ceiling fan. Attaching the schematic.

    Let me say its conditional. If it is connected to the output of pulse transformer , It would work as you said. But if the half cycle is generated using diode in series, then there would be no discharge path.

    I would with easy peasy. you need to rebuild it. also keep in mind that your transformer is done properly and the snubber is done properly. do you have oscilloscope ? Please share schematic.
