Hello,
I'm looking for some assitance in working out a miller decoder using an FPGA and state machines. If anyone has some familiarity with this I would greatly appreciate some insight.
Thanks
Hello,
I've been trying to work with the WIZ110SR to setup a quick test between the gateway and a serial port on another computer. I can't seem to get things working correctly. Once the setup parameters are loaded to the WIZ I should be able to communicate using RealTerm or any other...
Hello,
Has anyone ever used the RF430CL330H NFC/RFID breakout board? I am having a problem clearing the interrupt flag. I set my registers to the following values:
INT_ENABLE = 0xFF, 0xFA, 0x06, 0x00 --> End of Read/End of Write Enabled
CONTROL_REG = 0xFF, 0xFE, 0x16, 0x00 --> INTO...
I guess my real question is.. I am running my microcontroller clock with the 32MHZ inernal RC, my SPI device would ideally like to have a clock speed of 2MHZ. Is there a limit to how low I can set my micro clock (to save power) without screwing up my SPI device?
Thanks
Hello,
Is there a rule of thumb for microcontroller system clock speed, when using SPI? For example, I am using a SPI to communicate with a sensor where in the sensors datasheet it says to use an SPI clock speed of no less than 2MHZ. My question is, how is my microcontroller system clock...
Hello,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm looking for a good RFID tag/reader development kit to use with the Xmega256 microcontoller. Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks
Hello,
I am trying to figure out the minimum baud rate required for my data transfer via microcontroller UART.
I have an spi device that samples at 3200Hz (spi running at 2MHz) and I place these samples in a frame consisting of 16 total bytes.
What is my minimum serial baud rate to ensure...
Hello,
I'm having some trouble with the ADXL345 communicating via 3 wire SPI on my XMEGA256. I am using Atmel Software Framework with the XMEGA. If anyone has done this before I would appreciate some direction initiating the accelerometer to stream data. Here is what I have...
Hello,
My issue has to do with obtaining multiple voltages from a battery bank. I have twenty four 3.6V battery cells that I want to wire to get about 43 volts, 36 volts and 12 volts. I know that just tapping off at the desired voltage is not the best way to do this due to unequal loading and...
Hello,
I am playing around with an RF transmitter and I am looking at the output carrier wave on a signal analyzer. The output on the analyzer is measuring -7dBm. If someone were to ask what is the RF output power level, how do I explain this in terms on mW or Watts?
Thanks
Hi,
I have a power brick that will output +/-12V @ +/-500mA. Is it correct to assume that is 500mA for the +12 as well as the -12V for a total of 1A?
Also, if the positive supply is drawing more than 500mA... will it just take what it needs from the negative portion? In other words, if my...
Hello,
I am having some trouble setting up the AD9910/PCBZ evaluation board via external control from an Atmel XMEGA. I think my main problem is the IO update. I would like to use the automatic IO update so that I don't have to rely on an external signal on the line to sync command. Any help...
Hi,
I am wondering if someone who is familiar with the AD9910 DDS could write a quick pseudo code operation that illustrates how to correctly program the AD9910 through serial SPI for single tone operation?
Thank you.
Hello,
I am trying to locate a frequency mixer or multiplier to use for FM modulation. I currently have an FSK waveform that I created via a DDS and would like to apply this waveform to a carrier frequency signal to produce a final frequency modulated output. I have also already created the...
