Hello,

I am trying to locate a frequency mixer or multiplier to use for FM modulation. I currently have an FSK waveform that I created via a DDS and would like to apply this waveform to a carrier frequency signal to produce a final frequency modulated output. I have also already created the carrier frequency and just need to merge the two signals together. Carrier frequency is around 300MHz.
Would anyone have a recommendation for an IC that I could use for this application?
Thank you.

I doubt there is an IC suitable for FM at 300 MHz. Use an LC oscillator (at 300 MHz also a coaxial quarter-wave cavity can work), and add a varicap diode to tune the frequency. THen use your signal as the varicap tuning voltage for FM. You will have to combine the DC tuning voltage to tune a center frequency, and capacitive-coupled modulation voltage to add.

Do you have a FM receiver ready to test?
