in simple words
dB value can be taken as signal to noise ratio (Better the signal as compared to noise, more the dB value)
and
dBm is power output. (actual power output in miliwatt or watts is known if dBm is known)
DC/DC conversion is more expensive in case you need much power
you need more parts in your circuit for a Rectifier+DC/DC converter
but Transformer+Rectifier doesnt need more circuitry. simple circuit and reliable in this case.
but in other case complex circuit, and specialized parts to be used...
hi everyone
i have APC Back-UPS CS 650. it is giving low output voltage on battery mode if the load is reduced. nominal voltage is 220V AC, when i have load of one CPU and one Monitor then output voltage on battery mode is 204 VAC, but if i turn off the monitor to reduce load, the voltage drops...

if u r a good student and have a command on practical subjects then u can go for some project in image processing, many papers are available online.

u should use some stepper with haigh power like 15 to 20 Watt. use 5V or 12V motos as it is easily available and its circuity is also easy as compared to low voltage drives.
AC is easily converted in magnitude so thats the biggest reason that it can be any where converted to any required voltage level. also Ac provides separation physical seperation in our main and power station lines.
anyway magnitude conversion is the most common reason for AC prefference
mosfet gate microcontroller
you can drive but practically it is not recommended.
the interface circuit which you are asking is just using 74LS245 buffer IC then a BJT, then the Mosfet, which will provide a lot of current if required keeping your circuit completely safe.

i want to know what is the shift command to shif left or right a byte.
like i want to shift right 'A'

i am using ADC0804 to convert data and use it with 89c51.
i am using it in free running mode i.e. wr rd intr are not connected to microcontroller but they are connected according to free running mode of ADC0804 data sheet.
