Hello,
We use the LM337EMP/NOPB to provide a negative supply line for an analog circuit.
This is the SMT SOT23 version.
Used to produce a -12V from a -15V supply.
Am finding them very difficult to source, those who do have them are charging crazy prices.
Is there a drop in replacement?
Or...
Yes, in normal circumstances it would trigger an alarm, correct.
However we have this "special" application where we need to prevent it from doing so.
An yes disabling the alarm is the other option. This would require firmware modification which I don't have control off (and it could be...
Hello
I need to clamp a millivolt signal from the output of a detector to 14mV.
The signal cannot exceed 14mV or it will trigger an alarm
Hoping to use a network of passive components perhaps.
Usually I'd use a clamping diode but that would be for something in the volts range. The signal max...
Adding hysteresis is it? I.e Input must be constantly low for a period of miilseconds before it is accepted?
Hmm worth considering
Would prefer a hardware solutution!
Hello,
Currently I'm working on a project, we are seeing some strange behaviour.
We are reading inputs through back panel of an instrument. all input lines are pulled high to 5V through 10K resistor.
A simple external contact closure will then pull the input lines low
These inputs are...
Hello,
I'm looking for a suitable 24 bit ADC for a project I'm working on
The signal I need to read is a single ended input with a range of +/- 1.25 Volts. Would anyone have a sugestion as to which part I should use( Low cost preferable!)
I tried using an Ltc2440 for the job, it can take a...

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your information, very helpful,
I continued searching for a low cost/part count solution and
came across this profet from infenion,
It's max input voltage is 45V, I think I could live with this.

I think i can...
Hello,
i need some sort of high side switch to switch voltage on/off to an output load.
the switch needs to be controlled by a TTL logic input.
The max voltage on this device is 50V with a current up to 0.5 of an amp.
I've tried using a BC141 NPN BJT. This looks like it should work as the...
