Let's say I like to import x number of text files, each one consists of measured data arranged as one columnvector. I need matlab or better scilab to append all vectors in an array, the best is if I can choose which files to pick i.e XYZ_5_ABC so I can pick all files...

No you can buy a readymade piezotransducer, one for TX and one as RX. There are schematics on this board and many other places, if you cannot find PM me.

If you like to make a crossover cable from an ordinary one you only change at one side. What you are after is to change so the Tx at one side will be a Rx forthe other computer.
Whas this what you asked for?

I have some bookmarks to some HowTo but never tried it..
Try grub-install /dev/hda from a bootable linux distro with hda needed to be changed.

Sorry if I mislaed you that I actually had knowledge in this :)
I once planned to buy a linksys and change firmware so thats why know it could be done. Source code are available so perhaps you can get a hint there , also try their forum, both svea and wrt. Search for more firmware projects...

I have not tried them so use on own risk.
