Allow me to share my comment here.
Guess by now you should have some understanding on theTDR.
By learning the TDR measurement, it is very useful to identify the bad location and discontinueties.
SOMEHOW, I have learned that not much theory/comments on the correction...

I have read a few comment and some book but still can't get a good understanding.

ADS is very useful for active and passive simulation. It also have 2D RF simualtion - Momentum. I personally feel that this is like the most luxuary class CAD tool. Plus, it is an expenisve tool.

I think if you require RF result in
1. S-parameter ---> Advance Design System(ADS) and Microwave office (cheaper)
2. EM Wave pattern + S-parameter ---> 3D simulator: Ansoft HFSS and CST
It seem like you are looking for the SMA cox to microstrip transition then 3D simulator is...
Probably what I am asking is any considerating before go for simulation? Any trick or limitation that I shlould look at and others practical experience to share on this design?
Do I need to consider the width of the microstrip line under right below the connector pin?
And etc...

use the below formula..
Zin_ohm=zin(s(1,1)).
Place in the display equation format...
plot it using rectangular...

Any rule of thumb like solder, epoxy amount, shape of connector etc?
I am refering to high frequency usage that use connector like 1mm or 2.4mm.
