Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I can optimize the transition between the coax to microstrip surface?
Any rule of thumb like solder, epoxy amount, shape of connector etc?

I am refering to high frequency usage that use connector like 1mm or 2.4mm.
Thanks in advance

use sma connector with appropriate impedance

Probably what I am asking is any considerating before go for simulation? Any trick or limitation that I shlould look at and others practical experience to share on this design?

Do I need to consider the width of the microstrip line under right below the connector pin?

And etc...
