I intend to use the PIC 18F67J50 in my project with the CDC class libraries to interface the native USB to a PC using PC USB port.
I have an I2C EEPROM connected to the uC.
Is it possible to update the contents of the EEPROM from the PC and avoid using a USB I2C bridge like MCP2221...
Take a look at LMP90100 from TI. It will serve the need you have.
Remember to allow sufficient settling time after you switch the channels.

I am designing a generic audio interface. Three LEARN buttons will LEARN (Vol-up, Vol-dn, Mute) IR codes from remotes and store it against the respective functions. In the play mode, The remote will be able to control the volume and mute.

I just wanted to clarify that PSpice is an OrCAD product.
OrCAD is taken over by Cadence.
So you will find PSpice bundled with OrCAD Capture and Cadence HDL Designer.
