what voltage are analog and what voltages are digital ?

Rather use an oscilloscope to determine signals, you can't see your signal with a DMM.

Help- i want layout for this schematic

This is not a difficult layout. Isn't this cheating if it for your final project?

how to create standar cell in cadence ?

I see you built the circuit from library standard cells and then used the auto router. The output is not optimum... Adjust your floorplan to match the combined size of the cells you are using, plus a bit extra. Your standard cell will then be the same height as all the library cells, this will...

what voltage are analog and what voltages are digital ?

A function f(t) is a signal. This function can be current or voltage or any other parameter against time if you want. So one can speak of a signal for a voltage, IE. voltage signal. - - - Updated - - - 1 to 3 is AC voltages (Sinusoidal) 4 is a constant voltage value thus DC 5 is a current...

    Problem with LM317 adjustable regulator

Maybe the power rating of your resistor is too low.

What are the different reasons for the channel length to be 22nm,35nm,70 nm etc.?

Parallel cores is part of functionality (18 months) But parallel will in help with the doubling of transistors (gates etc. made out of transistors).

What are the different reasons for the channel length to be 22nm,35nm,70 nm etc.?

Re: Different Channel lengths The law actually states that the number of transistors will double every two years. The period is often quoted to be 18 months, this is due to the statement of a Intel executive who fitted the law to chip performance doubling. Moore's law still holds true. The...

Is there any parameter scaling law in mos scaling?

Oxide thickness, junction depth and substrate doping is usually defined by the IC manufacturer you use. Usually constants dependent on the capabilities of their equipment. - - - Updated - - - Scaling you say... Hope it helps. - - - Updated - - - Thus... Power...

how to calculate total power consumption

I am unsure of any direct methods. Usually you calculate the components/currents/capacitors by hand which is already an estimate and then you measure afterwards in Virtuoso.

    [SOLVED] Confusion with Differential Amplifier.

His second circuit is almost two transistors in parallel, the inputs is not common in the figure.

    [SOLVED] Confusion with Differential Amplifier.

Your second circuit would be a good circuit to handle larger currents, current division through your transistors. That is when you make the two inputs common. \[I_{C1} = I_{C2} = \frac{I_{C,single-transistor}}{2}\] Thus, half the current. But it is not a diff-amp.

how to calculate total power consumption

I am sure you can find this somewhere, library/internet etc. This is a good digital CMOS book: CMOS Digital Integrated Circuits Analysis & Design by Sung-Mo Kang & Yusuf Leblebici from McGraw-Hill with ISBN:978-0072460537 The average dynamic consumption (From the above book): \[P_{avg} =...

how to calculate total power consumption

Measure the current used at the power supply. P=VI When you are using gates then there might be a bit more calculations needed.

About IC pins. Can u pl help me with my foll qn frnds....

Rephrase... This is true for Standard logic gate ICs, mostly... The position is mostly the same. TTL devices Vcc --> Voltage Emitter (+) Vee --> Voltace Collector (-) CMOS devices Vdd --> Voltage Drain (+) Vss --> Voltage Source (-)
