Re: Bandwidth of AM
in AM
we get the components of final modulated signal at fc+fm and fc-fm, so it is seen the carrier frequency actually changes but as
fc >>fm (fc much greater than fm)

Re: new to linux
begining redhat linux 9
linux for dummies etc are also other few good books to start with
these books can be downloaded from flazx.com or ebooksclub.org
Re: Linux for SATA Drive
change ur bios settings
change ur harddrive setting to combined mode(sata/pata)
i had the same problem with red hat 9 and mine bios setting was showing enhanced mode and i changed it to combined mode and it worked.
for queries try
www.google.com/linux
for me
red hat linux 9 was the best option to start with
i have downloaded beginning red hat linux 9 e book from flazx.com and believe me it worked.
u can try
in windows xp, to view the total partition structure, go to
control panel--> Administrative Tools-->computer management-->storage-->disk management.
or
try commercial softwares like powerquest partition magic etc.

make sure your window drive is not ntfs partitioned
ntfs partitions are not usually recognised by the linux os
and if your window partition is the first primary partition
then type
mkdir /mnt/c:
mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/c:
for any further enquiry type your problem in
www.google.com/linux
