I have a Zeninth z259e12 Laptop. One day It stop working and power goes off Automaticly. After that I power on my Laptop but it not powering on.I check its power adapter with multimeter but it shows correct voltage 20.8v.I open my laptop covers and check it Dc jack but it was correct. when I plug my adapter again in laptop and check the voltage on connector it shows 0.4 volts. Wat is the problem anybody Know.Pl help

Something might have burnt or shorted.

When the power adaptor is ok and reads 20.XX volts, and when connected to the laptop, ot drops to 0.4V, naturally its means the Adaptor shuts down due to an internal short or heavy loading. The laptop's power section may have a dead short.
Cheers
