Hi everybody!
I have XC3S400PQ208, I want to build my own microblaze system!
Because the PC DDR2 DIMM module is avaliable and cheaper than single DDRAM chip,
Is it possible to interface XC3S400PQ208 with standard DDRAM2 DIMM module ?
how minimum pincount for this interfacing ?

Re: XC3S400PQ208 interface DDR2 DIMM module, is it possible

whoa.. sounds really cool..

The XC3S400PQ208 appears to have 208 pins.. (i would assume it as having 208 ball pins - not looked at the datasheets though)..

A typical DIMM DDR2 has always 240 gold tab pins.. there are unused gold tabs but probably a small fraction..
