Why all-'0' and all-'1' codes are removed in the code-density testing for ADC:cool:

Hi Danny,
The sinewave input on ADC when doing code density testing is being ovedriven/overranged to ensure all codes will be tested. This means a larger hits for "all 1's" (max) and "all 0's". If you will graph the histogram not removing the all 1's and all 0's, you will see a huge amplitude for all 1's and all 0's that you might not recognize you bath tube graph of the ADC output histogram.

Cheers,
Jeep
