Hi everyone,
I start with FPGA now. At the beginning have one simple question. By my FPGA I try to communicate with some appliance. How could I read a response signal the easiest? If it comes into one of declared STD_LOGIC port. My FPGA is Spartan 3 (I use Xilinx developing software obviously). The simplest way which comes into my mind is send it by RS232 to computer but it requires RS232 handler and additional connection, additionaly in the future incoming responses will be much faster so RS232 will be too slow. Any other way to see that signal's bytes?
Regards
