When i short connect probe pins to the same node (for example power ground) on the PFC circuit, oscilloscope displays some kind of noise against displaying zero voltage.

What cause this type of noise? Common mode or differential mode?

How one explain this issue.

I used passive probe and isolated channel oscilloscope

Thanks for the help
